Business English Pod (Bizpod) has launched a new series of videos exploring advanced English grammar issues made by B. Rhodes, a Canadian ELT. It isn’t exactly new, because these videos were already available here, with explanations and quizzes.

Thanks to Ian Harper, producer of The BradField Company, I happily discover the widely awarded Inanimate Alice (actually, thanks to the Edublog Awards nomination, if it weren’t for them, I’d have never been the recipient of his email).

wePapers: sharing knowledge

wePapers is a social network product focused on sharing and expanding knowledge from subjects on a university level. Googling, I found out that wePapers is the outcome of two Israeli students who started this idea from their own experiences in college.

Future education? I’m just a cog

…dreaming to raise awareness in the cogs I teach or, rather, tutor…while I’m pushed through the gears along with them. Fallen into the quagmire of apparent contradiction and worsened by the fact I’m “just” a part-time associate lecturer at the wrong university (?)

Splicd: get to the point

A simple but great tool for learners, tutors, etc.

If you’re using materials from Youtube, there’s an online app called Splicd that lets you isolate the part you want to show from any YouTube video.
