Yesterday I participated in the radio show called “Oveja Electrónica” (Electric Sheep) that is transmitted in FM Futura radio station of the La Plata city, in Argentina.
I went in representation of the Gleducar NGO to talk about Free Education and education policies.

Hace unos días tuvimos la Asamblea General de la Asociación Civil Gleducar donde nos reunimos a decidir el futuro de la organización. Los temas debatidos y acuerdo alcanzados pueden leerse en este enlace.

Recientemente fue publicado un manifiesto en co-autoría sobre la defensa del Dominio Público en el marco del Proyecto COMMUNIA.

Recently I collaborated with Stefan Meretz in the writing and translating of the article “Commons in a taxonomy of goods”. Here is the final result:

Commons are common pool resources. Commons are common goods. Commons are social relationships. You can find all of these descriptions for the term. Which is the correct one? All three versions are valid—at the same time!

Mañana 1 de Enero del 2010 se celebra el Año Nuevo, según el calendario gregoriano, sin embargo el 1er día de cada año es también un motivo de festejo para todos los que abogamos por la defensa y crecimiento del conocimiento sin restricciones, ya que celebra el Día Mundial del Dominio Público.
Gran parte de las obras de aquellos creadores que murieron en 1939 (hace 70 años) vuelven al Dominio Público el día de mañana en gran parte los países del mundo (esto varía segun cada país).
