The Re.ViCa project: Reviewing (traces of) European Virtual Campuses

The Re.ViCa project ran from October 2007 until October 2009. Re.ViCa has been making an inventory and carrying out a systematic review of cross-institutional Virtual Campus initiatives of the past decade within higher education at European, national and regional levels. The main objective of the Re.ViCa project was to identify relevant parameters and success factors for evaluating and comparing Virtual Campuses, based on thorough research and expert input. The Re.ViCa Consortium organises in-depth discussions with experts in order to incorporate the input of different interest groups.
The International Advisory Committee consists of European and non-European experts in the field of Virtual Campuses, who have provided input on the work of the project team.
The results of the research are now available on a public wiki. All project publications are available on the Publication page on this web site.

New Re.ViCa newsletter published! The April/May edition of the Virtual Campus newsletter has been published. Highlights this month include a summary of recent US activity relevant to e-learning and virtual campuses, a report on a workshop on e-learning in South America, an insight into the activities of the Association of Academic E-learning in Poland and a topical collection of announcements, reports and publications in the field of e-learning and the virtual campus. |
