eLearning Africa 2010


Se está celebrando desde ayer en Lusaka, Zambia la 5th International Conference on ICT for Development, Education and Training...

The 2010 Call for Papers ended on Friday, January 15th. The response was tremendous, and eLearning Africa is delighted to announce that a new record for the number of submissions has been set this year: eLearning stakeholders from Africa and the rest of the world sent in a total of 450 proposals!

The eLearning Africa Review Committee has selected the most relevant, innovative and informative presentations and has amalgamated them into an exciting conference programme. The pre-conference events, sessions and best-practice showcases and demonstrations will provide new stimuli and fresh ideas – a celebration of what eLearning can achieve.

eLearning Africa 2010 features:

  • more than 330 speakers from 57 countries
  • 4 plenary sessions
  • 10 parallel conference strands with 60 sessions
  • 20 best practice showcases and demonstrations
  • 8 Insakas
  • 21 pre-conference events and many other new features.

This year’s eLearning Africa, the fifth in the highly successful series of pan-African gatherings, will take place in Zambia under the patronage of the Zambian Minister of Education, the Honourable Ms Dora Siliya. From May 26th – 28th, 2010, the Continent’s largest annual assembly of eLearning and education professionals from Africa and beyond will convene in the capital, Lusaka. (leer más...)
